4. Look listless

Children with asthma can look lethargic. They look limp and uninterested in the activities they usually enjoy, even with their favorite games.

5. Insomnia

Asthma can cause a child's sleep quality to decline. This is because coughing and shortness of breath that recur at night can make it difficult to sleep, or become frequent awake.
